Where's the confidence in this team? We have nearly half a defense that will be in the NFL one day.We have the smartest q/b in football. What more do you want.

A&M is being put on a pedestal for reasons I'm not quite sure they deserve. Everyone keeps saying this is the best team we've faced, guess what, same goes for A&M. Vols by 7.

I'm sure the confidence for the team is fine, it's good to go. I assume they're preparing hard and expecting the win. Other people outside the program are simply looking at matchups, injuries and circumstances and giving their honest opinions, and many simply think this will be a very difficult game for Tennessee to win. Not a big deal, you never know until the game is played. Anything can happen.

One thing is for sure, I hope the players aren't reading any of your posts or the other 30% on here thinking the sky is falling!

Oh. This is kinda like the 'Germans bombing Pearl Harbor' speech. We can overlook the details....he's on a roll. :clapping:

"We beat UGA at home". What detail? You're reaching. :)

We do have some injured players. We do have some w/r that probably make the NFL. I'm just saying, when we beat UGA the other day and some of their fans had already left to celebrate the win, reminds me when I was at the Arkansas game and Stoener(sp) fumbled the ball and we came back and won. By that time, All the Doubters, UT fans, probably 1/3 of the fan base at the game, had already left the stadium.

It's possible we can win a shootout with them. That's the hope I have. I don't see Vols being able to stop them...unless Butch has something up his sleeve we don't know about.

This has the Oregon game from a couple yr's back written all over it. The key injuries are one of the big issues.

It can be done imo...but this game is as tough as it gets.

We gonna find out just how good Shoop is this week. Im not as worried about CB's as I am the LB's. Shoop better have a masterful game plan if were gonna win this game or the next. Same goes for Debord. Shoop has an excuse, hes missing 3 all conference starters, Debord has no excuses.
