The connection to me is the ability of the offense of both teams because there was real talent on the roster but the play calling and preparation is so inept it shows on the field that the players are better than the coaches

It's never been about the wallet... except for when Hamilton refused the reigning sec east division championship coach money to hire the best OC available so he could fire him.

People, it is about the fact nobody wanted to work for our pathetic leadership. Would you work for an absolutely horrible boss, known within your industry to be completely inept? Because that's what we had under Hart and Currie. Hamilton was the most inept of them all but people didnt know that. When lane flighted and he (with the 100% approval of the Haslams) made the decision to make a desperation hire in 2 days he also got exposed as the inept regard he was. This is why he was fired. He lost all respect of his position, on top of firing a HOF coach and completely fumbling it 1yr later.

This is what we deserve. We are lost deep in the dimensions of inception except we can't wake up. Who has tested their spinner lately

I’m with you buddy. We’re gonna have a great team this year. It’s nice to know we have that to look forward too during the winter. Coach Barnes has them going in a good direction, those players have definitely bought in to his concepts. Hopefully the football team can follow that mantra with CJP.

Give it time, it is now been 10 years since Fulmer was fired and we are on our 4 th coach and it is getting worse year by year and this year will have the new worst record at 3-9!!!

Dave Clawson's system was, well...a train wreck...the issue now is simply players.

The talent is NOT there. They just arent good.

Amd you know what Bama did? They went out with the checkbook and hired a proven winner. Stop comparing what they did to what we are doing, light years apart.

We have enough talent to be better than what we just fielded. Through 4 games Helton has been awful. I get the OL blows and that limits you but what are you doing to try and put your guys in a better position because of that? It's not run,run,pass, punt. It's not putting Jordan in at the 1. Not rolling your QB out. Not taking advantage of the short and intermediate routes when your OL csnt hold for long calls even though your WR's are pretty good.

We need better players agreed. We also need our offensive coaches to do a better job.
