Sick and tired of hiring guys we have to say "Let's give him a chance"!!!! We needed a proven guy like Patterson or Petersen etc, but right out of the gate they went cheap trying to hire Shiano!!! That's bad even without Sandusky issue!!! I hate this administration!!!!!!

We are top 10 in wins, you don't get there without doing something!!

We will not stay there with attitudes like yours btw

We even had the jump on FSU who's been just as bad as we are! I'm sure they'll just pick between Patterson or Peterson maybe even saban now.

Well Patterson and Peterson wasn't homeruns when they first started. They worked their way there.

Also with reports of neither being interested, that does show what the elite coaches think of this job right now.

This board was full of people saying that Mullen was no better than Jones, wouldn't give Morris the light of day, and are disgusted with hiring a multiple championship coordinator while Mississippi State hired Moorhead. Fact is, Tennessee is not a great job right now, and too many people wouldn't know a great coach if he ran you over.

Oh l didn’t realize that all an AD had to do was utter the magic words. l want Patterson, Petersen, Gruden, Gundy, etc and then that Coach accepts.

My first choice would've been Mullen. Unfortunately Currie tried to sneak Schiano in on us and screwed everything up! Given where we were, Pruitt is a grand slam hire. Given the track record of DC's in the SEC, he has a great chance!

As for Petterson, Leach and those other west coast coaches... how many are in the CFP? How many were in their division championships??? 'Nuff said. An SEC team will eat a PAC team 9 out of 10 times. Why would we want a PAC coach?

Sorry I’m not excited about a 1st time coach using Tennessee to “work his way up”...

Pruitt is a solid hire, especially in our position. If anyone can't see that then they are just blind to facts and want something to bi*** about
