Signature moral victory was the too-many-players-on-the-field versus LSU. Dooley was at his best.

He out Les Miled Les Miles.:hi:

He totally deserves a break. I mean, he "beat the sh*t out of Vanderbilt."

As much as I hate Rich Rod he just beat USC in his first year and his team was 4-8 last year. Dooley has had three years and beat who?

Please never post again because apparently you don't know what you are talking about. 3 straight years we start 0-5 in the SEC. We could win out and I wouldn't care because we didn't beat anyone worth a damn.

Every good coach wins against teams they're expected to lose against. Unfortunately we can't say that about Dooley.

Dooley will be back. We lose 13 seniors, 6 starters. Provided all of our juniors play their senior year, he should have one hell of a team on his hands. Tough schedule next year, oh well. We still have games to play. Go Vols!!

Give Dooley a break? How many breaks does one coach get now a days that's making millions of dollars that's not winning in his own league? The bottom line is Wins & championships. The coach is snake bit. He's unlucky at TN in his coaching abilities. Almost is not good enough in this league. If you aren't doing your job at the place you work or show poor skills on the job...you will be dismissed for a lack of production. Your bosses won't keep you around if you don't produce up to the company's standards. Same for SEC coaches. You don't produce a winning team it's bye.

Keep believing that ****e. Dooley's run has been unprecedented here. Historically unprecedented. Like as in horrible. The fact that you can defend that makes me question your intelligence or allegiance.

I will say this. I was surprised the team played as good as it did despite the circumstances. Coming off the awful BAMA game (the time outs, game mgmt,, the FG) and the perceived lack of team unity I thought this team may not have any fight left.
So today with the defense still giving up big plays, refs blowing a few calls, and the Lattimore injury and its potential affect on the momentum I gotta say I was hopeful we still played it out and was in a position to win until the almighty ghost from Dooley's past (LSU, KYand UNC) came back to haunt us.
So for him and the staff being in the situation they are in and the rumors about the programs current dysfunctionality, I was glad to see them not operate like this was a lost season.
