It was the day before July 4th weekend 2008. Arenas and the Wizards agreed on a contract. It was a six-year, $111 million deal. Here is what the deal looks like looked like from this year onward:

2012-13: $20,807,922 (Player Option)

Arenas deserves this! It pisses me off how some athletes think they are above the law. First off common sense would have told you that taking guns in your team locker room and across state lines is not a good idea, but to make matters worse he makes a joke out of it.

It's time to face reality Gilbert. Maybe now you will realize how lucky you are and just shut up and play ball and not alienate yourself every time you open your mouth. Have a fun few months in jail.
