What are the upsides of each?

I personally don't care much about controlling a dog, but honestly, I only play COD games for multiplayer anyway. Ghosts is supposed to feature destructible structures I think. I don't know if it will feature vehicles though.

BF4 looks beastly. What are the improvements from past games?

Where are you guys leaning?

BF4 all the way. Everything is better than COD IMO but you will have a challenging time at first if you make the switch.

I am partial to battlefield myself. It's just been better for multi-player for me. Excited about 4. Also looking at getting that new game Titanfall as well. Looks to be a COD killer for sure.

I've been a COD player since the start. Never tried Battlefield till a little over a month ago.

After a couple of days I knew I was done with COD for the most part. It will be BF4 for me.

I will be picking up both Ghosts and BF4. They're both different types of FPS's...one is a run and gun while the other is more strategic and teamwork based. I love both. I will also pick up Titanfall, that game looks sick.

Thinking about grabbing an Xbox One after launch just for Titanfall and Forza. I want to like Ryse (sick graphics and Spartans) but the whole quick time event fighting is a turn off for me.

It's not all QTE. Have you seen the footage of the arena battle mode? Looks more like God of War or Dynasty Warriors type of game play.

If you like playing with piles of poop, go with COD. If you want to play a great FPS, then BF4. You can pick up BF3 for under 20 bucks and try it out, there will be many great upgrades with BF4, but you can get a feel for the style shooter it is with BF3

You're getting more of the same either way. Neither of these series is innovative at all, so it depends on whether you want an arcade or semi-realistic.

I hope Titanfall is successful. I think the lukewarm reception to BO2 even though it really doesn't have any game breaking problems is indicative that people are getting tired of CoD.

I'm not a fan boy, I play both. But, if I had to choose between the two, I'm going BF4. 10x better than COD. The only reason I play COD anyway is to troll and my friends all have it.

It's really a matter of what style of fps you prefer. If you're into fast twitch, frantic death matches where the fastest reflexes win: COD. If you're into strategic warfare that requires a mixture of skill, teamwork, and battle tactics : BF4

COD focuses on individual achievement and glory - BF4 rewards more for team play.

Personally, I prefer BF - the kiddies/punk teens can't handle strategic thought or playing as a group.

BF4. I just think this series has evolved way more than COD has.

They've put time and effort into it, whereas Activision knows that COD has become the annual force of habit purchase for many people.

\I really don't know anyone over, say, 20 year old who went from COD to Battlefield and ever turned back. The dynamics of the game, and the squad/team concept, are just better in every way.

Battlefield is 100x better if you've got folks to play in a squad with, it's not a bad idea to keep your headset on even when you're on your own, you can find some good folks to roll with that way.

Also I like that gaming skills, though important, aren't the be all, end all. Working as a team and executing a plan can beat the **** out of super gamer types all day.
