Gettintg tired of all the "lucky team" talk

Good teams make their own "luck", Tennessee is a great team and we're going to have to play a great game to escape with a win, anyone who says otherwise has an agenda.

I really hope we beat A&M this saturday if for no other reason than to shut up all the talk out there about this team just being lucky. If this team wasn't pretty darned good right now they would be 2-3, not 5-0. A game is 60 minutes long, not 30. It doesn't matter how many points you score in the first half, or the second half. The winner is the team that has the most points when that clock hits 00:00. I don't care if you score all your points in the last ten minutes of the game (or the last 4 seconds :) ). If the other team can't stop you from outscoring them in a total of 60 minutes, then guess what...you win! If we were scoring all of our points in the first half, but scoring nothing in the second half, but still outscored our opponents, would we be "lucky" then? Probably, the talk then would be that we jump out quickly on teams and then shut them down in the second half. The narrative seems to be framed totally on WHEN your points are scored not how many you score.
Again, all I care about is that we have more than the other team at 00:00. If that keeps happening they can call it whatever they want, but we will still be undefeated.
What do you expect from all the trolls.

If we lose a game they'll all be calling for the coaches head. Bank on that.

I notice a lot of TV heads saying "Tennessee was lucky to get the Hail Mary," but none of them saying "Georgia was lucky" for getting that single pass into the endzone on the play before.

Team with expectations? "They got lucky."

Team with no expectations? "They played hard."

I have been watching college football intently for about 34 years. I can't think of a single team that won a championship that didn't have a couple of missed calls by the ref's, made a lucky catch for a 1st down, had a key player on the opposing team injured and that player either missed the game or wasn't 100%, had a fumble bounce their way or had a for sure interception dropped by the opposing team.
Florida, Florida State, O Bama, T.O.S.U., Miami, etc. etc. have had these lucky breaks.

The only thing that matters is in January, we hold up either an S.E.C. Championship trophy or an NCAA trophy..... Doudt history will remember what path we took to get there.

That's because that pass wasn't luck. Ridley slowed up deep into the route and got our corner off stride, and Eason looked off Abernathy to keep him in the middle of the field to keep his throwing window open. He read our coverage perfectly and made an incredible throw.

Luck is when preparation meets opportunity. The harder you work the more better your chances of catching a break are.

Isn't it possible we're both good and lucky?

I don't mind if people underestimate us.

I agree, it was not lucky that we fumble in to the end zone for a touchdown in overtime.
