Ok, so we have a tough road ahead of us. We have 4 games that we need 3 out of.

@ Missouri (65% likely)
*Currently 3-0 without an SEC win so far.
*Playing Arkansas St. and up by 1 halftime
*Before us they play Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina with no break
*Unfortunately, we have the same kind of stretch before this game. At least, we have an off week mixed in

vs. Auburn (40% chance of win)
*Lost to LSU by 14
*Beat Mississippi St.
*Arkansas and Florida International before us

Vanderbilt (55%)
*Beat Austin Peay by 35 (10 less than us)
*lots of issues distracting
*Kentucky the week before us
*Lots of struggles against UMass

Kentucky (90% likely)
*Lost to Western Kentucky (WKU also lost to Southern Alabama)
*They play Georgia right before us
*Currently losing by 14 to Florida in the 3rd QTR

We will very possibly go bowling this year. Get ready Volnation Butch is moving us in the right direction

So the road to a bowl game is exactly what many of us "negavols" and not vfl fans were saying it was three months ago.

Hmmmm, interesting.

Don't know about Mizzou since I haven't watched them play probably because I forgot they're in the SEC. VU & AU are better than us and I doubt we have much chance against either. KY is a toss up. Ain't gonna be no bowl game.

It will take all of this season and part of next season for us to get to 6 wins.

If we struggled this much against USA, then how would we play against S.E.C. teams.

I think Mizzou's depth issues are worse than ours. But they do fair better with QB if he stays healthy.

Vandy's struggle with umass is worse than us letting South alabama back in the game.

Auburn is another high tempo offense.

Kentucky has really sucked against WKY and not impressive with hapless Miami Ohio team that APeay could beat. But they gave louisville a game and haven't quit yet against Gators at home. But no excuse for not whipping them and their hapless offense.

We face Cutcliffe and Duke in Music City bowl.

Right now I see us as underdogs too
UGA
South Car.
Alabama
Missouri
Auburn
And even Vandy. If a freshman doesn't step up at QB we are seriously looking at loosing all those games with Vandy our best shot at an upset. JMO

We just need consistency and poise...especially on offense. Defense is coming along but you can't leave them on the field too long against these high tempo offenses.

Any team that can run from the QB position and has any speed to get to the edge can beat us. Therefore I think we'll be lucky to split the last four. After we get pummeled the next three our spirit will be tested. Butch is getting ready to earn his paycheck.

Yupp, along with a winning mentality. If we do have a chance at winning any game it will be close and you have to have someone with the confidence and mentality to win. Worley doesn't have it and that much is clear.

Does anybody think Mo Couch will be back this year...............because didn't Green (GA) get a 4 game suspension a few years ago for improper benefits?.....just asking

We will not get to six wins with Worley. Even if the receivers practice scooping balls off the turf and making acrobatic jumps to snag balls thrown way over their head and three feet to the side, it will be tough to win in the SEC. We have big problems. Fundamental problems. Skill problems. Talent problems. Confidence problems. Leadership problems. This is a terrible gameday team, made worse by a QB with the wrong skill set for CBJ's system. Somebody better change something, because we won't win in the SEC playing like we did today.

II'm not about second guessing the coaches who get paid to make personnel decisions. I do wonder what's the point of playing the current starter for the next 3 games, that we're going to lose no matter what, when they could go ahead and show fickle fans like me that they really are building for the future by grooming one or both freshmen.

AP is so horrible, that's not a measuring stick. Both UT and Vandy beat AP by whatever margin they felt like winning by that day. Heck, UTC beat them by 32, and they weren't even trying in the second half.

We aren't beating Mizzou.

If Franklin is healthy when he plays UT. He'll run for 80yds and throw for 350. I'm not sure we have the talent to stop him. People keep assuming we'll beat Mizzou b/c we're UT and they're Mizzou are setting themselves up for disappointment.

After the Peterman debacle and CBJ's on-field comment today, I'll be surprised if he throws a freshman into the UGA or Bama games, which will be brutal to watch. I don't see much upside to Worley, who looks more like a headcase every week.
