It's actually just a long running thread we have on tidesports.com...goes back a long way in the season. It got started b/c one of our fans chided everyone else for not being serious enough...was saying we were going to cause Bama to lose.

c'mon buddy... I've grown to respect you over the past few days, even if you are a Bama fan, but honestly, dont take up for this loon. I know he's one of yall, but seriously, "FOCUS"...and "GET SERIOUS" ??

To me it's a lighthearted stab at goofing off...do you have any fans on here that (for most of the season) never have anything good to say about UT? We have one, dd4bama on tidesports.com/forums. You could say that was a great 78-yd touchdown and he'd find something negative to say about it. He's a pariah on our boards. I don't dislike him, but he is fun to mess w/. That's where this whole "get serious" thing came from...now it's just a long running joke. Check it out if you ever get the chance...and look for ol' Double D too.

I've enjoyed being on your boards this week...all the initial name-calling and fussing got a little more heated than I care for, but that was as much my fault as anyones. This week it's easy to fuss and fight w/ ya'll. I will be glad when we get back to normal and can look forward to meeting ya'll in the SECCG. Do you realize that's never happened???? That would be a huge draw.
