With Gundy turning us down the National media will have a field day, saying we deserve this. Currie must go he’s done more damage to UT in 48 hours than anyone ever.

Screw the media, they know nothing!! Remember when they said Butch was a good hire, or Muschamp was gonna be the real deal at Florida, or when Charlie Strong was gonna turn around Texas?

The media's going to be after us no matter what from here on out. We've gotta stand together as Volnation to defend ourselves because no one else is going to.

Who cares? So you lose the media for a few days. Better than losing on the football field for the next 4 years. Going after Gundy was the first smart thing Currie has done thus far. I'd rather him take a shot at several more top-tier candidates before he dipping into the 2nd tier.

The media get paid to move their jaws and state their OPINIONS. And that is all that it is, their opinions. They aren't any smarter about UT than folks who have been following the team for years, decades, or our entire lives.

How many times do you read their articles or hear one of them running their jaw and they do not even have the most basic facts correct?

They can pound sand. I would so love for someone to ask the egghead, Finebaum, who does he believe, Mike McQueary or Tom Bradley and Schiano. He keeps talking out of both sides of his mouth about the near hire. And then comes back and says that he would not have considered Schiano for the job. BUT he still rips UT. He is the worst UT graduate ever. He could do some real journalism for once but instead he brings on the derelict, John Adams, to babble on. He will say how JA has his finger on the pulse of all things UT. We, as real UT fans, know that Adams is a clown, nothing more than pot stirrer just like Finebaum.

It is enough to make one scream and sometimes I do for no apparent reason.
