Is the Vol Nation bipolar? We won't know anything for certain until Hamilton steps up to the microphone and makes the announcement, but given some of the wild-eyed responses from the message boards, it sounds like He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named swiped some people's meds along with some of our recruits.

We are all anxious about who our new coach will be, because we CARE. We love the University of Tennessee, and we want, and often demand loudly, only the very best for her. That's why we feel so betrayed over You-Know-Who...we gave him the last full measure of backing and support that a fanbase could give to a coach, and received a spitball in the face for our trouble.
Stay passionate, VN. But stay sane too. Keep in mind that if there IS a "perfect hire" out there, odds are we won't realize it until some years down the road. And whoever our new coach is, don't let our recent breakup make you forget how to love again.
