Gerald finished 2nd today in the long jump with a jump of 23'5. He ran in the 3200 relay yesterday. It was his first time to run in any event this year and he ran a 2:02 split. Not to bad for never even practicing the 800..

Our track Kid Gil Roberts who is going to Texas Tech broke the state record for the 200m and 400m. He ran the 200m in 20.77 and beat the field by about 25 yards and then in the 400 he ran a 46.53 and I think the second place finisher ran a 49.89 or somthin..

It looks like we will win three team state championships this year, so it will be the first time that a school in Oklahoma has done it since 1949..

I have never seen him timed in the forty.. If I had to throw a number out there then I would say around a 4.35.. I think his fastest unofficial 100 is around a 10.2-10.3... We timed him in the forty on the run off a film and it was a 3.94. He is ranked #1 in the nation and #2 in the world for his age..

Millwood how good is Rotnei Clarke from Oklahoma?

Supposedly he is a Chris Lofton type of shooter.

Broyles is a very good athelete.. He is about 2 levels below Gerald though and Hes about a level below the Swindall kid that we have going to Texas Tech for Football..

Rotnei is probably the best shooter I have ever seen.. Unfortunately for him he has come up against Us the last two years in the playoffs and has lost both times.. The reason why he averages damn near 40 a game is because he shoots the ball damn near everytime down the court.. In their opening game at the state tournament this past year he put up 60.. The kid can score with the best of them, the problem he is going to have is that he is only 6' and hes going to have to play PG in college.. He doesnt make his teammates better.. I'm in one of the biggest arguments all-time with his uncle on an Oklahoma message board.. He keeps telling me that Rotnei is the best player in the state and I keep asking him why they cant get to the finals when they are ranked #1 all year long.. I keep coming up with the same answer, we have Gerald Jones and nobody in the state has a big game performer that comes close...

Millwood, you should head down to Knoxville when Gerald enrolls, check out practice, and tell us what kind of nasty formations they are running with him.

There is a chance that i'll be up there in the summer to help work a camp, if that falls through then hopefully i'll get to attend the South Carolina or Georgia game.. Just depends on our schedule back here..

So what is Geralds forty time.. im getting anywhere from a high 4.3 to around a 4.45.. that's a big difference.. does anyone know the exact time..??
