Jones accounted for 135 all-purpose yards and one touchdown in Tennessee's 28-10 win over Kentucky.
Jones returned a kickoff for 39 yards, a punt for 14 yards and had five carries for 67 yards and a touchdown and caught three passes for 15 yards.
Jones kickoff return gave the Vols possession at its own 47 yard line. His punt return started the Vols at its own 49 yard line.
Jones' 55-yard run set up a fourth quarter score.

He's got an awesome first step. He's just slightly above - average on the top end though.

Congrats to Gerald for the recognition. It seems to me that the award was given more for his time on offense than just on Special Teams. He had a decent kick off return and a decent punt return (but let a few punts hit the ground). But, his play deserved some type of player of the week award.
