I'm just saying, you guys are making a huge deal about a guy that hasn't done a single thing at the college level other than practice well.

Wow, he can play 2 sports and an instrument. I'm sure nobody else on the team can do that.

Yes he won a state championship in track too... UTSTU maybe you need to go rag on all of the people that have been talking up Berry, Vinson and the rest of the young kids too, because they have never played a down in college either... Gerald did very well in the scrimmage last week and obviously he is extremely talented so just relax and let people get excited... And to Sabanocchio fix me up a sig of Gerald also... UTSTU just stop responding, obviously you havent got a clue about anything...

And I never said he wasn't talented. My original post was just showing my feelings about everyone hyping up Gerald Jones (not just in this thread) and Eric Berry like they're going to be All Americans this year.

Im on the Jones bandwagon, Ive bought in completely. Millwood's had me fired up about him for a loooooooong time. I cant wait until Ainge fires it out to him on what looks like a bubble screen and then he rips it downfield to O'Neil for about 45yds. Kind of our version on the Music City Miracle.

I would love to hear Chris Berman do a highlight of one of Gerald's high school highlight reel. There would be so many.."Woop! Woop! Woop!" :):rock:

Novel concept...don't read nor reply to these threads. Let the rest of us idiots get excited over the kids and upcoming season. I personally can't wait to see Gerald in the game, and the packages Cutcliffe has for him.
