Georgia Tech game

Agree. Especially after the warm up, virtually every game becomes the biggest game if the year. The best teams at the end of the season approach it that way IMO. It certainly isn't an original thought either
We need to go into the Texas game undefeated i just feel like with a loss to Tech our season could spin out of control quickly with Texas, Auburn and Arkansas and Bama coming up after. it’s going to be a meat grinder this season playing 9 league games. And that’s why the Tech game is huge in week 2 and for the confidence of a young team with a new QB.

It’s a big game. They have two excellent RBs. Justice Haynes from Michigan transferred there. Oddly enough both back averaged 7.1 YPC last year and Haynes rushed for over 800 yards in just 7 games. They have a new QB, new OC and no studs at WR, so expect a heavy dose of these two backs.

Might be the biggest of the season. agree or disagree
Likely will set the tone for the season, but not the most important. One thing is certain....we're walking into a jackets nest in this one. They'll be ready to play and they're a tough bunch. If we don't match their physicality and energy, we'll be in for a long day.

Expecting a tough, grind it out type of game....................that we'll win by two scores.
Not with a Freshman QB against; what should be, a very stout D. We'd better hope our new DC and system can keep them off balance for 4 qtrs. I don't see us scoring many points.

And we have a young d-line. Our lbs will need to play well.

I mean, every game against an inferior opponent is important to handle business against and it will definitely be competitive. Ultimately, I think Tennessee has too much talent for Tech to handle over 4 quarters. So no, I don’t think it’s the most important.

I expect this game to be similar to the game at OU in 2024.

It will be great in confidence boosting and hopefully will dim the bright lights of the Noon kickoff 2 weeks after that.

Inferior talent? Do tell. If you're referring to the all important "star" rating, Indiana says hold my beer. There's more than enough talent on that roster to put a whipping on us. Plus, I'm not at all convinced we have a better coaching staff. We'll be very, very fortunate to win that game.
