Forget their dumpster fire fanbase.

They are 3- 1 with a nice come from behind victory against Mizzou. They can play a little when the players are on the same page.

But that is the problem. They're not often on the same page.

They have speed at wr. Had drops last week. That always changes. But UGAs oline is often beaten at the point of attack.
Cheney is still pass happy and they often give the ball right back as result of not converting on 3rd down.

UGAs average defense is on the field too long as a result.

Cons
- Freshman QB
- weak Oline
- bad secondary
- no depth
- schemes still being learnt
- no idea of complimentary football

Pros
- Depth at RB
- Wrs that can stretch field
- talentd fron 7

Eason will throw picks.
Our special teams will continually put them in bad field position.
Our DLine will dominate. Watch out for Darrell Taylor this game.

This is the SEC, and any team can win on any day. Georgia, in Athens, is plenty good enough to beat us. We better strap it up tight!
That said I think the Vols finally have some confidence. If they can maintain their focus good things are on the horizon!

Dont kid yourself, Georgia has the athletes.
Offense has the play makers at RB and QB.
We will be tested, this will not be easy!

We could be 10-0 and UGA 0-10 and it would still be a toss up game. They have Tubbs, one of the best runners in college, provided he is healthy. UGA will be out for revenge. I really don't know how good of a coach Kirby Smartt is to be honest.

and when we don't blow them out you and many more on here will go right back to where you were two weeks ago...

Stop kidding yourself. This will be a battle, it always is...

Will Nick Chubb be playing, or is he still injured?

please remember Michel was ahead of Chubb on the depth chart when he broke out. Michel can run and their two younger backs have talent too.
DL has a chance to really prove themselves on a big stage on Saturday. Everyone will be focusing on their RB's.
I hope they man up and take no prisoners

Isn't Tubby Smith a little old to be playing CFB?

Their rbs are talented but it doesn't matter. Their oline cannot run block to save their lives.

One thing we can't afford to do is start playing Tennessee football in the 3rd. If we continue to start slow we will eventually get burned. Georgia is very talented do not underestimate this team. At the end of the day you can say we are not that good. Talented yes but we haven't played 4 full quarters yet. All truth

Will Nick Chubb be playing, or is he still injured?

Kirby Smart joined The Front Row on 680 The Fan on Wednesday morning live from Athens.

He gave the latest on Nick Chubb and what he has seen the last few days out of the junior running back.

“There is really no update, we are day to day,” Smart told show host Sandra Golden.”We are trying to get him back, we want him back bad, don’t know if he is going to be back. Based on yesterday it is hard to say. He has to recover some. He is doing some running and putting a little bit of weight on it, but not much cutting.”

If Chubb is unable to play against the Volunteers on Saturday, freshmen running backs Brian Herrien and Elijah Holyfield will be asked to take on an increased role. That's especially true for Herrien who is the Bulldogs' second-leading rusher with 26 carries for 184 yards and three touchdowns.

"He runs hard, is a great young back who is growing and improving," Smart said of Herrien. "We challenged him. He has got to be a guy who helps us more on special teams. But now, if Chubb is out, it is a situation where he is going to have to carry the ball."

And, my liver might not appreciate it if the Vols continue to wait until the 3rd to start playing!

Expecting our ears-laid-back pass rush, I would expect GA to attempt draws, screens, and play-action passes where their WRs go deep down the sideline with the primary intent of trying to draw the pass interference call.

I look for them to try at least one play-action TE over the middle thinking they can get Jumper to bite inside then go over his head, much as we did to MLBs in past two games.

Watching them against Ole Miss reminded me of our Tyler Bray offense. I think Eason has the strongest arm we will see all year. They have the speed to get deep on us. Will keep extra blockers in...Cheney will have a good game plan for us.

Everything could come together for UGA in their game against the Vols on Saturday. Take it to them for 60 minutes, Tennessee. Grasp victory and bring it home.

Vols need to make the fewest mistakes.

The Vols should play for and make the breaks and when one comes our way Â… SCORE!

If the early going goes against the Vols, they should not let up

Lines need to protect Medley, Daniel, Dobbs, and the Backs.

Vols need to cover, block, cut and slice, pursue and gang tackle.

Need to have a great punting, kickoff, return and coverage.

The Vols need to carry the fight to North GA leghumpers and keep it there for sixty minutes.

Something like that.

One "great" half of football against Florida will not determine how we'll roll thru the rest of the conference schedule.

Tennessee has some inconsistencies to work on with both sides of the ball.

Georgia isn't going to roll over and let us come in there and dominate them. Besides, Tennessee has yet to show it can do that through 4 full quarters.

This game is @ Athens and still a battle for 1st place in the eastern division so I just don't see UGA as a terrible team that will not put up any resistance.
