Maybe something will finally get done about the ridiculous salaries unproven players get just for being top draft picks. There's something very wrong with a system that allows guys who have never played a down to get 10x what proven pro bowlers earn. And Upshaw had no desire to see that corruption end. Why? Because of his ties to Tom Condon, a sports agent who would stand to lose out.

Im sure alot of vets are muttering "good riddance." between themselves.
