Epic also announced and put up the new Alpha playlist.

Gametype randomized between TDM, KOTH, and Execution. 4 v 4. Players spawn with Lancer, Gnasher, Snub Pistol, and Smoke Grenade. The Hammerburst, SOS, and Retro Lancer are pickups.

Sounds awesome, allow me to pick the Hammerburst at the start and we're all good.

So something strange happened last night. I was playing horde with some other people and blood drive was selected as the map. I hadn't paid for the new pack or anything, but it still popped up on the playlist when voting. But I thought the pack that that map was coming with didn't come out until the 23rd?

Either way I might just bite the bullet and purchase the season pass for this game. Some of the DLC that's coming out sounds really good.

It came out last night but I believe the new maps are available in Horde only until the 23rd. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Only one player needs the DLC for you to play on the "new" maps as they're already on the disc.

New DLC campaign, RAAM's Shadow, is coming out on 12/13. Estimates say the new content takes about 3.5 hours to complete.

Nice.

I decided to invest in the season pass for this game this past week so hopefully there's some good content coming out for it.
