hopefully it doesn't disappoint. they kind of took a step back in a few areas in the second game but had alot of improvement in it as well. if they just adjusted the shotgun power back to how it was in the first game and had an awesome campaign equal to that of the first one then this would more than likely be a definite buy for me.

i kind of regret buying all the extra content for the second one since i hardly ever play it anymore.

Just add new maps to the original GOW and leave it alone.

They should just go ahead & burn their hard drives & every other trace of this game & save the people some money. Cliffy B is a Dbag that gets a stiffy out of making the fans suffer.

Gears of War is still my all time favorite 360 game. They screwed up the MP in gears 2, but I have faith the next one will be outstanding...

Gears 2 wasn't all that bad, IMO. Gears 1 was better though.

As long as I'm still able to chainsaw online with the Cole Train, I'll pick it up.

Hopefully they finally fix the netcode so the multiplayer isnt a broken piece of trash. Sadly, that would mean Epic would actually have to finish the game instead of working on map packs.

4 player co-op was an expected and smart move. I really hope this is a good game.

4 player coop might be the only reason to get the game. If they use the same design for multiplayer as they did in 2, it will suck. Might be a renter for me.

I used to love this series, but I played it for the first time in about a year last week at a friend's house and it was just...average.

I'll get it but I'm not going to pay full price.

Games looks crazy. I feel like they are pretty far into development for it to be coming out in almost a year.

same here. when the first one came out i thought it was honestly going to be my own personal halo, but then the second one came out, and while still a good game, put a damper on the series in alot of areas.

that being said, the 3rd looks really good and i'll most likely get it. i just hope they fixed their horrible matchmaking system that was in the second game.
