Oklahoma proved it tonight and pounded Florida by FIVE touchdowns. And some around here think we need Pruitt back for another losing season and another loss to Florida?

Maybe we should hire the Oklahoma HC if we don't get Freeze.

Dude, We have made Gundy rich enough with the previous coaching searches. Florida still pounded us, our end of the game touchdowns were pure garbage time.

And FL is loaded for bear next year, that QB that played the final drive for them is the real deal. Athletic with a cannon for an arm, if they fix their D, they may be able to give Bama a run for the SEC

We have to do it the hard way and the longest way possible. Its the Tennessee way. Not the smooth way or smartest way. The uphill way.

How many starters were not playing for the gators? I think they said 7 of their better players were skipping the
game getting ready (?) for the NFL. This game meant a lot more to the Sooners than it did to the Gators. The Gators were just getting reps getting ready for next year. Except for the playoff games most of these bowl games don't mean much to the players.

There is enough talent on this team that a Malzahn, Freeze, Sarkisian, Campbell offensive minded HC could make us competitive right now with Florida. Hell Butch Jones should’ve beat them 4 years straight. Fulmer is determined to ride Pruitt into his grave...just as Pruitt has rode JG into his own grave.

This game was similar to us playing Vandy with Vandy barely having enough players to field a team. This bowl game was a joke before it even started. If Florida played with the same team they did against Alabama they would have won by 4 touchdowns.

If you watched the SECCG and actually think that Florida sucks, then I have a bridge for sale.

I don't know about that. But, I have it on good authority that Florida showed up to collect that NY6 money for themselves and the league.

This is why I think we should only look at regular season record when discussing a coach. Florida finished the regular season 8-2 and gave a great game against Alabama in the SEC championship but they’ll finish the season an unimpressive looking 8-4.

Plus teams that underperform in the regular season end up getting matched with much less talented teams which can make the season look better than what it was, Butch Jones’s 9 win seasons for example.
