Wonder how many recruits UT's team and coaching staff sent looking elsewhere today or earlier in the week.
Wonder what Coach Fulmer will say to Coach Pruitt and staff.
Wonder what a lot of power brokers will be saying to everybody.
An amazing continuation of Butch Jones level of football.
Garrantano has had everybody but Bernie Sanders help him try to become a better quarterback.
So far that ain't done much to improve on-field performance.
There is nobody else, behind him to bring in currently, either.
Recruiting and player development year 1 of Coach Pruitt's tenure was that tenuous for key positions.
Line play was like the rest of the play in some ways.
So was RB. So was LB. So were DBs. Special teams were only marginally special.
Unfortunately this is UT football nowadays.
And it is the first game of what may be a very, very long season---
a game which was supposed to be a "gimme" to get the team some experience,
and help ready players and coaches for the SEC.
The SEC has probably relaxed after this game, because today's effort won't beat anybody else in the conference.
