I don't remember which one of you it was that asked about my great-great uncle...whether or not he was killed as a soldier in the Spanish American War. The answer is yes, in the Phillipines. He was on an operating table when enemy troops killed him. His brother (my other great-great uncle) was there too, but wasn't killed. A third brother (my great grandpa) was evidently not in the war. This is random, but he was a charter member of First Baptist Alcoa.
