Yeah. I've used some olive oil in a chipotle marinade. I guess what I meant earlier is that I prefer the slow and low method because, if I have my druthers, I prefer to buy really prime beef and not put anything on it. For some reason it just seems to take forever to cook at low heat on a gas grill. I do not know if this is a matter of thermodynamics or just my perception of the matter.then use vegtable oil. trust me, it works.

Especially once you get past the urge to open the grill every 5 minutes.My Father-n-law is a Holland dealer.
