Garza pleased with Evans and Anderson - VolNation Blog

Sounds like he expects both of them to contribute.

Also, I thought Kiffin's comments on Brown were interesting. I haven't seen it posted (it probably has been), but I was surprised to read that Brown's suspension was going to be four games and not the rumored two.

I think Art Evans is going to be a star. With him, Jackson, Gordon, Myles Jr., Anderson, Wagner, we have a very bright future in the defensive backfield.

Im like CLK, im just glad that he didnt have to pay the fine, whatever it was (a lot). I wonder if he had been made to pay money if he would've been able to force Mr. butler to pay it seeing that he was representing a minor when it went down and doing the fund rasing on his behalf.

I believe you're thinking of Gozer.

In addition, I cannot believe I lurked so long just have my first contribution to the forum be a link to a Ghostbusters wiki. :)

Welcome... regardless of your off topic contributions.

Love the user name.

If he does not get tougher whats the chances Warren stays on the team?

Reading quotes from Kiffin about Warren, I'm not very enthusiastic about his ability to contribute this year or next. He certainly has the athletic ability to perform, but something is missing. I do find it refreshing that the new regime does not feel the need to brush off these sorts of concerns to the media and fans with standard comments we had all heard thousands of times.

Regarding Crompton, I don't believe his issue has been knowledge of the game but has been using that knowledge. In game he seems to stop thinking and try to do too much which just makes him lead the offense into disaster. I hope the new staff is able to come up with a solution for those mental breakdowns. Maybe the physical practices are a good start.

Brandon Warren will be our #2 WR this year, if for no other reason than out of default. He will be our go to guy the first two games... Despite Kiffin's hard talk he knows that he stays or leaves based on his Win-Loss record, not on how well he disciplines players...

I love having all the depth at DB, that takes such a tremendous amount of pressure of the D-line and LB's just knowing if one gets by them or a rush isn't strong enough that you have the best defensive player in the country and one of the best group of corners and safeties in the country to back you up. We are going to be much stronger than people think if our offense can stay on the field at all this year. GO VOLS!!!! 8 DAYS LEFT
