Best 'already employed college coach' we could possibly get short of Bob Stoops.

It would be a great hire.

Should be choice 1A 1B or 1C with Gruden and Petersen from Boise.

Think his style would be great in the SEC and a quality guy based on his handling of Paschall(sp).

He's my second choice behind Gruden. He takes the talent that he gets which isn't always great and believe it or not actually coaches them up. That's something we haven't seen around here in a long time.

Another plus for Patterson is that he is a defensive coach and we all know that we need all the help we can get on that side of the ball.

Patterson was my number 1 when Kiffin left. He'd be an excellent hire.

Would be a great hire, what he's done at TCU is unreal. Proven winner, and I think he could really recruit also, especially since the SEC has expanded westward.

I think you should do some research and see the HUGE scandal at TCU this year. I live here I know. Not kids doing drugs, half the team dealing drugs. Multiple failed drug tests and cover ups. Do your homework.

I read/heard about it when it came down.

Patterson was the kingpin, imo.

Not sure , he is playing some decent competition more frequently than he is used to and isn't fairing too well . I believe he is 1-3 in the B12 . I would first like to see how he does there for a couple of years

Oh ok Ill stop trying to let people know whats going on where I live where a program has been in shambles and we will let the search committee handle it. I hope Gruden's agent isnt really a d!ck.

Isn't that what drug tests (administered by the staff and AD) are for? To discover these kinds of things? How is it a scandal if they got busted by the very folks whose business it is to find out and apply punishments for any offenses?

I highly doubt there's a drug ring connected to the staff or the staff having anything to do with it. They can't hold these kids hands 24/7.

Well, when you provide some actual credible information, it will be appreciated.

You say it's a "huge scandal" and yes, it is a problem.

But when 3 players out of approximately 120 are arrested and convicted after a 6 month police operation, the math doesn't add up to it being a huge problem.

And given the level of scrutiny TCU has been facing, if there was a cover up by Patterson, it would have been uncovered since that news broke in February.

If being a d-ck means calling BS on people sometimes through some sarcastic remarks, then so be it.
