I think it looks better when they are all of the same. Not a big fan of the other themed forums. Now, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if Freak revamped the current header since it has been that way for a while.

Leave the VN logo alone. Characters are one thing, but the xbox logos all over VN are too much.

I like the idea, but I'm not a huge fan of so many Nintendo characters in it. I think the 5 NES guys compared to the 2 from other systems (if I remember the pic correctly) is a little too much. Maybe replace 3 of the 5 with Lara Croft, Master Chief, and another popular character from a different system.

Or, if a lot of people think that is too cheesy, what about taking some animations of vols players from NCAA and blending them in somehow?

I don't know how well either of those would work, but off the top of my head, they sounded good to me.
