Herby and Corso picked against at home, maybe the team will get some motivation and come out like they did against Georgia. At this point I'm grasping for straws, and praying the team will get fired up. Herbstreit commented on a lot of things many of the posters have been saying here, we've been in a decline for at least 3 seasons, and we are playing with practically no passion or fire. Either way, lets hope the boys get fired up today and stick it to the ol' ball coach.

It was good to hear Corso say that BC and LSU were the only teams good enough to be ranked where they are....implying that Ohio State hasnt played anyone yet.....just good to hear someone else say it.......
In totally unrelated news, :clapping:Im ready for SC to go down hard tonight

We will win today

It's South Carolina, and they haven't scored a touchdown in 6 qtrs

i do hope to see us get busy tonight, but i dont think we should have to pick something every week that might be our motivation to go out and lay it on the line.

I do agree that we need to come out and set the tone, with either a quick score our shutting them down.

It's time for Tennessee to play with some attitude

I just hope if we end up with the choice, we defer to the second half. Tired of us trying to take the ball and score, and watching it blow up in our face.

it sure is. while this game may not mean as much in the SEC rankings as it would have, if we had beat UA, it seems we are on the edge of falling off the college football map. a good ole beat down of the cocks, would at least take back some of our homefield intimidation. that, coupled with the smack down of UG at home.

Totally agree, the other thing it will do is hopefully get some confidence in our men. They are going to need it if they want to be more than the SEC East has beens this season. Although we haven't lost at home this year. I'm not sure we can say we don't have home field advantage this season just yet, granted most of our home games have been against weak opponents.

We will make smelley look like a million bucks tonight. The Db's will play so far off the receiver's they will need two way radio's to communicate with each other.

Man Carter, I would hope to God the coaches are smarter than that after Alabama. If they aren't, I think we all know what will happen at the end of the season. On the other hand if we don't get up in Smelley's face it will make little difference what our DB's are doing.

i hope i don't eat my words for saying this, but there is no way they will give them that much space after spending all week getting hearing the questions about it and putting DJ Hall in the Bama records.

Chavis adjust his defense. Don't hold your breath. They could have made that adjustment before halftime last week. These guys go brain dead in big game situations. Maybe since this isn't a real big game maybe some of their neurons will start firing again.

I think the players care a whole lot, or at least that's what's reflected in the interviews, but they sure don't show it on the field. This team doesn't know how to fight back when something doesn't go their way.

probably OK today, since we don't really need to protect our D like other weeks.

Yep. We should see lots of Foster, Hardesty and Coker. South Carolina has been down right bad against the run this year. We should be able to move the chains, wear down the Carolina defense, and limit the number of snaps our defense has to be on the field.
