It was scheduled brilliantly by all parties involved, because there's almost nothing as far as major games go in week 2.

There was only about one other week 2 game that might have competed for Gameday (Arkansas v TCU). Our game didn't really have much (if any) competition...it's a weak slate that week.

It surprises me each time an announcer or sports channel talking head says, "most attended game in college football history."

I keep waiting for them to realize that it's gonna be the most-attended game in football history, period. No pro game, or game at any level, has ever been bigger. Can drop the "college" qualifier and just talk all of football.

And our Vols are in it. Go Vols!
