While the location of Gameday doesn't matter to me in the long run, it would have been nice for Gameday to actually choose the game based on the best match up, rather than pimp their own. LSU-Auburn, to me, is the best choice.

I agree. I think LSU/Auburn is obviously the best game. However, I also thought there would be a decent chance that they would choose the USC/Nebraska game.

I asked 12 people, and they said it should have been FAU @ Oklahoma State. :p

Would you rather go to LA or Auburn, AL? There are so many good games this week. They could have easily selected Michigan-ND as well. At least 4 hopefully great games this Sat. It's going to be a blast!

For college football? Auburn, AL.

L.A. isnt a football town. It doesnt have the college football feel.

I saw this on another board so I will not take credit for it, but USC and UNL are both ABC whores. Therefore, kissin' cuzzin' ESPN goes to the ABC whore game instead of CBS's SEC game, right?

:scare:

CBS should pander to the SEC crowd or whatever crowd ESPN ignores. They could do their own version of college gameday.

Nebraska will be destroyed. Then they will go on and probably win the Big 12 North, showing what a weak conference it is. This is one of the best football weekends of the season. I can't believe they selected such a poor matchup.

I'd like to see Nebraska destroy USC and bring them back down to reality that they play in the weak pac-10.

I honestly dont care if they go to Knoxville, but USC and NEbraska is a joke. Why would you stay away from Marquee SEC matchups????

ESPN is a poser who kisses USC and Notre Dame's butts as often as they can.

Yep, i forgot about that. Great point. Keep posting on here.

To me it is pathetic that everything these guys do comes down to money and contracts in America. What a joke.

I'm going with Volnut here. They gotta go with the ABC family games first. You guys call it homerism, I call it smart business.

I sent an email to CBS suggesting their own version of college gameday for people that ESPN ignores. I know it wont change anything but it's a start.
