Here we go again. It's time for UGA vs UT and both teams look like they could be playing for the East title. I don't make predictions any more but I like the way our D has played and our Offense is starting to click. Should be a great game. How do you guys feel it will pan out?

You seem like the only level headed UGA fan on this board. So how big of loss is Washington when talking about playing UT? I'll hang up and listen...

I dont know what the line is, but I think we have a very good chance of winning.

That being said, given the remaining schedules, UGA has a much better chance of winning the East.

I honestly think it will come down to which QB comes to play. Tyler or Aaron.. I hate making predictions because I feel like we will win every game haha. But it'll be a good one thats for sure. Go Vols!

UGA 27
Vols 24

Bob K. will point out that Tauren P was "one step away" every time he is stopped for "little or no gain".

Tyler Bray will throw for 300 plus and 3 TDs.

Palardy will go 1-2

There will be No touchbacks

The Lack of a running attack will doom the Vols early.

Orange pants will be soiled with the loss. That will hurt the most.

Loss of Washington is big because he has really started to come into his own as of late. He is a Jr. that knows the system well and is physically dominate. You will probable see a rotation of Chase Vasser (Jr. who is better at pass coverage) and Ray Drew (5* freshman who has potential but little experience).

I live about 40 miles south of Chattanooga so I see a few Vol fans myself (including parts of my family). Needless to say I look forward to this game every year.

Resident Dawg genius! Answer this one: Why do the DAWGs suck so bad? They have had great recruiting for YEARS and great QBs for YEARS and yet they can't get it done? I have to know. Is it Richt? What is going on down there?

Personally I don't think they suck at all. I bleed red and black and will support them till death. Like you and most UT fans do for the Vols. However, unlike you, most of the fans on this board have always shown a level of class that you seem incapable of. Until you can prove to be a true southern gentleman then I will just choose to ignore you from here on out.

What are you looking for a date?

Dude, just being plain spoken. Check out the record. Right now, they fall into the "suck" category. You can be loyal and be objective. Or maybe you can't. UT is not good. They are a lower echelon SEC team right now. That is a fact. UGA should not be in the situation to have a game with UT be close right now. That is a failing on someone and I am trying to figure out who. It is the coach? Great guy, but is it his fault? Are they getting the talent wrong? What is it?

what the ignorant vols fan is trying to say above me, why does georgia continue to not get the most out of their talent. that being said, georgia has 2 losses vs two pretty good teams this year.

The ignorant Vol fan...nice. I see, losing to Boise St and USC should be esteemed. You must be a "moral victory" guy. UGA did have the talent to win and didn't. Thus the question. UGA choked and they have sucked. Call it what you like. The other UGA fans seem to believe it is the coach and as a result have said so. Interesting to see what the "genius" says.

be careful who you call names. Interesting you chose that avatar. It shows your ignorance. Bray is the present and Kelly Washington will ALWAYS be the future.

I don't think it is not us getting the most out of our talent, it is the fact the we cant get the talent on the field. We are in a situation where many of the recruits that we have got over the last few years have had season/career ending injuries or just cant handle college life. For example we have lost 3 5* linemen this year alone and countless lesser recruits over the previous 4 years. The game is won and lost in the trenches and the fact is we havent gotten some of our OL and DL recruits on the field to either learn the system or provide quality depth. It appears that CTG has alleviated that problem and we are starting to see the benifits on the D side of the ball. However our OL is still hurting pretty bad from the lack of quality depth. I am currently cautiously optimistic about our prospects in the future. I know alot of people, including DAWG fans, are bashing CMR but he has a history of winning and he hasn't just forgotten how to coach. He has made significant changes to how things are being approached and we are seeing the benefits albeit with a young and inexperienced team.

Looks like you made your prediction.

Putting up 24 against Miss St. isn't exactly impressive, and neither is holding their offense to 10. MSU's offense is one of the worst in the league.

My prediction: Saturday night will be the night the lights go out on Georgia! Vols:31 Dawgs:13

Good luck fade, I think it will be a very good game but in the end I say the Vols by 7. Good luck to your team.

Are these all injuries?

It being in Tennessee has me leaning this way as well.

Oh, and me being a homer.

Nope no pediction from me. History has shown me that no matter how talented a team is that doesn't mean that they cant have their a$$es whipped on any given Saturday.

As for Miss St I will take a win over any SEC team on any given week. Doesn't matter if you win by 1 or a 100 your record will still be the same

Are these all injuries?
2 injury related one apparently couldn't handle school and didn't like the new atmosphere of the coaching staff.

Fade is in town. ...now it's Georgia week.

:)

Always good to be here. :)

Good luck to you as well. We have wet the bed the last couple of times we visited Neyland so I will reserve judgement until I see it on the field.

Good to see you, Fade. Please forgive the "bad apples," we all have them. Bray is playing well and could become one of our all-time best. The loss of Hunter hurts, but it is good to see some of the young guys step up. I think our passing game will be fine. I still need to see us run the ball against a talented SEC team before I pick us to win any game against a quality opponent. I don't think some people realize how much more your deep game opens up when the D-backs have to respect the ground game. Our D has some glaring weaknesses (accentuated by the loss of JJ): speed and giving up the big play.

Should be a good one under the lights in Neyland.

Good to be around Doc. With business, family and coaching my sons football team I rarely have time to get on anymore. However I will always make an exception for this game. Our D looks impressive and I am excited to see if we can pressure Bray and force some mistakes. Our O has been servicable but we have got to limit mistakes. Going to be a great game as always. You know my nephew will let me know if things go south for UGA :)

We are fans. It is ok to have an opinion and make a prediction. I promise it will not have any weight on the outcome of the game.

Yes, I agree a win is a win, but you were talking about how your offense and defense is clicking. I was making comment on that, and not so much on the win.

Be brave man you can do it; give us a prediction.

If we don't rush for 100 yards you guys win, plain and simple.
