Game time weather not looking good

Guess Dobbs won't be able to connect on the long ball (anything over 5 yards forward)...

D4H prayers for game time weather have been answered!

Hourly forecast shows the chance of rain dropping off by game time. Maybe some wet seats

It won't be an all day wash-out. Don't be surprised if we see a heavy shower or even a thunderstorm......which could even cause a lightning delay. It won't last all game though for sure.

Lightning delay is the one thing we really don't want to happen. A little rain, no biggie. But hoping fervently that all the lightning is out of the area well before kickoff.

The forecasts I looked at has the storms in the 2-4pm range with it trailing off as we move towards kickoff.

The worry warts are at it again. If it rains, it rains, usually on both side of the field. Playing in the rain can be a lot of fun, especially when you are the better team. It could also be a great test for those games that are more likely to be played in the rain in November.

Uh...it's only a 50% chance of rain. That's almost an every day situation in the south. There won't be any problems. It'll be gone before the game starts anyway.

Rain will affect attendance and the cry babies will blame the lower attendance on the game being on Thursday.

It's just a simple fact that a lot of out-of-town fans can't make it on a Thursday evening. Fortunately for me, I got free Terrace seats from my friend in Nashville.

With good weather the place would've been pretty much full. On a Saturday 3pm kickoff rain cuts the crowd just as much as it will tomorrow. It happens everywhere.

Maybe. A lot of free/inexpensive tickets will likely allow more locals to go. I personally have three season-ticket holder colleagues/friends that are passing their sets on. It's just not feasible to cancel two days of patients/cases.

Not to mention a lot of people from out of town aren't coming up for App St on a Thursday when Bristol is next weekend and Florida in 3 weeks.
