She really hasn’t needed to evolve mad.
The system was unorthodox based on principles that were hit or miss.
I think posters like you and I recognize that.
It was simple, make adjustments during the game and everything would work itself out.
Again, simple football terminology is you don’t throw the same route 30-40 times a game. Nor do you blitz every down for four quarters.
Every system under a successful coach has been adapted at some point across all levels.
I don’t get what the usual posters are going off about and rambling on about this evolution change.
It really is more of smoke and mirrors. She is disguising her system better than ever.
Not being predictable.
Coach Caldwell still plays 10-11 players.
She is still making hockey substitutions.
Her adjustment is that in-between those substitutions if a lead is decreasing she’ll go right back to the top players as opposed to waiting it out. Also, she is calling timeouts sooner during lapses.
It’s still uptempo both offensively and defensively. Still full court pressure but without the 6’4 and 6’5 forwards attempting to press guards in the backcourt.
