I wish I knew what happened with her. Scoring we around 15 a game and now down to 11.6. There is no answer to why she has played like this never played this way last year at Clemson. Maybe just got tired all the pressing only answer I can come up with. She is not better than Cooper no one on this team this year is but they do play a better mental game. Ruby has 63 turnovers and probably 25 of them have come in the last couple of weeks.

Plenty of film of where she was creating at Clemson and at Tennessee earlier this season. If you don't believe what you can see then you certainly won't believe it when someone tells you so keep thinking your way.

She can't do it consistently and the reason she has lesser turnovers is because the ball isn't in her hands like it is Coops.

Are you talking about Whitehorn? If so, I've thought for a while now that I wish Ruby would try stopping her drives a step or two further out for a quick pull-up or semi-fading jumper. She's trying to get a layup but is consistently being converged on and stopped cold because everyone knows what she's going to do.

She has a nice mid-range jumper but just needs to pull up for it earlier instead of helping the defense by driving right into it every time. If she starts pulling up further out, she'll likely have more options.

I know from press conferences that layups were a point of emphasis among our coaching staff, particularly for road games, but poor Ruby was getting stuffed a lot the last few weeks. She has a beautiful jumper, and it felt like she really wasn't even trying to use it.

I doubt a foreign player going anywhere and we really can't use any perimeter players need more 4-5 but yes she is a nice player.

No, I doubt it. They have better guards coming in from high school than any at Auburn.
How does Gaston classify? Solid post but may not be a fit. Tennessee has it pieces coming from high school and 2-3 portal additions that fit the system.

She will no doubt learn lessons as all coaches should but saying she has to change her system because of this team non sense. You have to be better at it more experience will help as will 10 Athletic Players who can trap and recover. In CHRIST Alone

They have nobody maybe Scott who was injured all season. She was highly ranked on hoopgurlz and played really well that one season at Arkansas. Think we would only be a sophomore.

Have to find a way to play better defense and hold teams to less scoring. I know we score a lot but were letting teams get into the eighties way to many times and that is not good defense. SC holds Vandy to 63 if we had done that we win by 13.

Depends on what type of role she is willing to accept. Skilled player offensively. Her, Spencer, and Daniels didn’t particular mesh well at Arkansas. People talk about Talaysia Cooper shot selection at times which I believe isn’t always an issue really haven’t seen nothing compared to some of these other high volume shooters that take 20 shots by the 3rd qtr lol.

SC has deep roster of Athletes who can learn to play D at elite level. Comparing our roster to theirs please. Yes we need to be better and i believe we will with more players who can move laterally.

They are not the only ones to hold Vandy down. They lost eight times and Michigan St a good team but not an athletic team held them to 70. Ole Miss beat them twice holding them to 59 and 61. I agree we have a backend of the rotation that needs more help, but a lot of crucial missed assignments by players is the largest contributing factor.

I still think they would need to at least pull off an upset of TCU tomorrow (assuming TCU beats Colorado today). Yes, they're #11 in the NET, but this was only their 2nd Q1 win today and they're 4-2 in Q2 games. Their NET SOS is a pretty pitiful #70 (#179 non-conference games SOS) - the committee has historically not looked kindly on that.

I am fairly set on wanting to see what we can do in North Carolina anyway. I think we can win there.
