Kudos to the people who can shoot in that warehouse masquerading as a gym. If I was SEC commissioner, I would not allow that oddity.

Barker the best player just got 17 minutes, Robertson who usually gets minutes in low teens (around 13 or less) got the most minutes. So the legs got a bit of a rest across the board.

Good win! But I still can't get my head around this team. Are they a group that can play lights out and bully weaker teams but then just give up when the play the more talented teams? I hope last night was a re-awakening but we will see. I thought the Texas game might tell us something but with the egg they laid at VU, I am not sure how good they really are.

It's an opportunity to gage the team against an opponent near the top. They'll get the best effort from TX possible. The LVs need to be in position to win this one late.

Vandy made it a tough game for us by beating the crap out of them. They will be focused and play with energy. I hope we do to, but the mental sure goes to them Sunday. I think we can win if we bring the same effort and as always has to happen the shots are falling. We really had that three going there for a while.

What point production are you expecting from her, she averages 2.6ppg against UCLA, UConn and SC, the 3 other top 5 teams we faced?

Harmon in particular will be ready to prove something. Got benched the last 15 minutes of that Vanderbilt game. Her legs should be fresh lol.

The Texas team we saw last night sure wasn’t the one we saw against LSU in Austin. They played with fire that night. Last night they just looked poopy from the jump.

The LVs will compete better with Mia on the court against TX. Don't be ensnared by the stats you noted. In my humble opinion, if she plays, you will see significant production from Mia. GBO.

Kim, Dawn, Geno etc. have receipts. They’ve proven they can coach at a high, high level. Consequently, their assessments carry a different weight fair or not.
When/if CKC has proof that her system and her coaching can win Natties her team ripping would be taken differently.

It's not really as unpredictable as you think. There are certain teams, and I knew banged up Missouri would be one of them, that this team is always going to annihilate. The physical mismatch is just too overwhelming. I've been saying all week that this would be an embarrassing blowout for Kelle.

Then there are the better teams that the LV's predictably struggle with. There's another chance to break that mold Sunday, And I really like that it's here. I don't like our physical match up with them though, and a better chance to break the mold may be against Ole Miss or Oklahoma. But that's the mission, actually to be less predictable and pull an actual upset.

I'm so confused about Zee. I read that she gave a very inspiring speech to the team and they credited her with their new found fire. Then she goes out and not only lays an absolute stinker, but also is observed by many to be pouty and have bad body language WTF? If that ain't a metaphor for this teams mindset I don't know what is

I hope she's feeling good and ready to go Sunday because she's got a chore and a half. Cunningham, Oldacre and Sidwell are a triple handful. I'm really worried they're gonna abuse poor Zee. Or that she'll spend the whole game on the perimeter shooting 3s.

I actually didn't think her body language was that bad last night? Had an absolute clunker of a game, but I saw her celebrating multiple first year players after they did big things.

Glad to hear. It was talked about here on the game thread including from someone who was there I believe. It was also talked mentioned on Twitter. For all any of that is worth. It didn't make any sense after hearing what I heard about her pregame. Whatever, she just better have the big girl britches on Sunday

I do think she is our best defender in the paint, so I too hope she is locked in and ready to bang around on Sunday. I want to see first half UConn Zee.

Vandy definitely didn't do us any favors. TX will be out for blood on Sunday, but I think we'll be ready to go too. But if our shots aren't falling or we have a bad quarter, then I'm afraid it will turn into another blowout. I always thought we might be able to pull the upset at home, but I'm not so sure after the UConn and SC games. Even if we lose to TX, I think we can beat Ole Miss and Oklahoma. My fear is the A&M game that's wedged between those two. I think we'll be tired and thinking A&M will be a cakewalk. Don't want another Miss State mishap next Thursday 😅

I do think we ought to say that we were without our STARTING point guard. We have other point guards available including her twin. Mia would likely have added to the winning margin even with an average game, but Mya was a consensus Top 60 player and Top 15 point guard in her class. Mizzou didn't have any true point guards available.

Mia’s point production against SC was 0 for 10, scored zero points, so unknown how much point production was lost. As you say, other point guards were available.
