Few things in sports are as difficult as the game after the big game ... except possibly the big game after the big game.

Can't help but think a lot more eyes will be on Tennessee after Thursday's statement win. Here's hoping they put on a show for everyone and punctuate that statement with an exclamation mark.

Away games are extra tough.
And if that away game is at LSU, extra-EXTRA tough. In LSU’s last three seasons they are 50-1 at home, the only loss was last season when #1 South Carolina came into Maravich and barely beat them by 6.

Our Lady Vols will have to bring it, because they are extremely confident at home. It would be a HUGE accomplishment to beat them down there.

I think Tennessee can do it!

A terrible game team must play after such a big win. Hard to get it going especially on the road. I hope the team can play with focus cause we can win this game if we can match the shooting and defense we played against UConn. Have to keep them off the boards lost at home cause they let Morrow kill us with second chance points in the first quarter. I will feel good about us winning if we don't get to far behind by halftime. Tennessee 85 LSU 81

We got no favors by who scheduled the SEC making our two game team LSU while some lucky team got Arkansas, Georgia, or A&M.

Again, I won't predict the score of a game that I think the LVs will lose with fingers crossed the results will be the same as when I did this for the Uconn game. As mentioned by others, I think the euphoric high of the Uconn game is extremely difficult to replicate a few days later at one of the hardest places to play. I felt a hangover from that game and I didn't move a muscle. We will be the highest ranked team that LSU has played at home this year, so the PMAC will be buzzing. That said, we would have won our last game with LSU if Gilbert hadn't done so well. She has done horribly since our game, mostly on the bench, scoring less 10 per game, and shooting poorly. If she keeps her current trend up, we have a chance. Another interesting aspect of the game is that while LSU has done great record wise, they have not been dominant at all in SEC play given that they mostly have played the lower tier SEC teams so far. Even at home, many of their games are close, at least until the 4th quarter. If they play at their typical level that they have been playing, this will also help our chances. I suspect they will play better than usual, but we shall see.

Huge game because the next three games afterward are at home. We could make a super charge up the SEC standings winning the next four games. I feel confident because they are learning how to win and if they can keep Morrow off the boards were the better rebounding team. Rebouding and keeping them off the foul line again the two keys to winning another big game.

Do you all think all the Super Bowl parties and all the buzz about that will hurt their home court advantage crowd size wise.

I hadn’t even thought of that! Man I hope so, but those Kim Mulkey groupies are sure a loyal bunch.

But yeah, the Super Bowl is certainly a BFD and we know how much they love a good party down there, so who knows?

Regardless of their loyal, typically raucous fans, if Tennessee could show up with even 90% of the energy and confidence they had Thursday, they will make LSU move to 15-ONE at home this season, 50-2 over the last 3.

Contain MORROW and the second chance points we win this game....cant allow someone like Gilbert to have career night as well
I think Zee will have a renewed focus and keep Morrow from having another monster game against LVs. I am expecting big games from Coop, Zee, and Jewel, with a little bit of Ruby thrown in. Also, look for Spencer to have a steady handling of the team tomorrow. Let's go get'em. GBO.
