I am amazed that Holly is allowing the great WCBB program at her alma mater to slide into mediocrity due to her poor coaching. The team is not prepared at all. If Holly cares anything about The LVs, she will resign when this game is over. I feel so sorry for the great LV fans. They deserve a whole lot better than this. Shame on Holly! Shame, shame, shame.

This team and coach would do well just to hang up the sneakers for this year because they will learn nothing from playing any further games and the University would not have to go thru the embarrassment that will be experienced with a team who simply does not desire to play the game of basketball.

Won't blame the players. They come in as top athletes on their high school teams, but they need to be coached to greater heights for the college game. Players don't mature and get better under this coaching staff, none. I refuse to call these ladies weak because they're not getting coached, therefore they're not growing! You'd see a vastly different team if it were coached by a Mulkey, McGraw, Vanderveer, Geno. To put all the blame on the players is overlooking the entire problem.

yes, Diamond is not deserving to be on the court right now. She has mentally checked out.

A good start to the 2nd half. Mercedes scores but soon thereafter Diamond want to play dumb basketball.
Tennessee on a fast break and Diamonds passes the ball to no one. Turnover!

Then she shoots not one but two AIRBALLS.

Diamond had all of us fooled. She just not that good.

We were playing better when Dunbar was in there if she would watch her shot selection. Holly has completely ruined Diamond'a game she may as well be on the bench.

But the thing is, DD is trying to do everything to start the second half, but she is incapable of putting the team on her back against this level of competition.

Another unforced turnover, very bad shot selection, etc., etc. Could she be better with an o-minded coach? Yes. Is she nearly as good as SHE thinks she is? No way.

This offense (What Offense) is designed for Russell and for everybody else to get in where they fit in.

I've seen Diamond cheering on her teammates and encouraging them only to be knocked out with a screen by Cox and no one comes to her defense.

What is the chain of command on this team? I have seen Dunbar jack shots up from any and every where (whether good or bad shots) but if Diamond did the same its a bunch of stuff said.

W have no PG and Diamond is being asked to facilitate and she isn't a facilitator she's a damn scorer, let her score

DD is a team player, I have no doubt. But she is a TO machine as well. I would love for DD to take every shot . You may be right on the pecking order but she can move up in that order if she will hold on the ball and hit some shots. She is going to charge at least one time a game where if she would pull up at the FT line and pop it she would avoid the charge. Just my opinion!

Reynolds don't want to be on the floor. Wow! Our guards are not that good. And if you don't think that plays a part in the success or lack of success of the lady vols, you are seeing things.

If you don't think Holly, has tried to get as much as she can out these mental midgets guards you are crazy. And you think she sucks as a coach, cos she is unable to get this mental midget guards to perform consistently?

This is prolly the best these guards can play, this is what they are willing to give to the team, this is prolly all they have. And after we have been watching for the past two to three years, I finally believe them.

We can become a better team, cos a season is a progression, yes but I don't see any SEC performers on this team but Nared and Russell, and those are second team. So all those All AMericans, wuteva.

Ohh I hate that bih, Doris Burke... ugh.

This will be the norm until we get a new coach that is proven. I like Holly as a person, but she can't coach. These players are not overrated, they are not motivated and it shows. The offense is a mystery. Hopefully, the administration, boosters and alumni are disappointed and something actually happens after the season. This is embarrassing and unacceptable. I don't see how anybody continues to defend this coaching staff. There are no excuses.

Absolutely right, we have better players than most teams we will play, just no coaches.

Deshields will flourish in the pros because of the better coaching and teaching environment. She'll learn her attitude does need to get better and the fans won't be looking for her to save the entire team all the time. A ton will be lifted off her shoulders and she'll have fun playing again. I can't imagine playing under Warlick to be very fun, more stressful than anything really.
