the Lady Vols are ranked 17th

Georgia is ranked 10th

one is a Monday night game for the Lady Vols :)
hopefully they make a strong showing against the Bulldogs

This is a very important series for UT. They cannot afford to get swept by UGA, and I would be ecstatic if they could get two wins. UT is in sixth place in the loss column, a game behind Kentucky, Alabama, and UGA. Losing two or three to UGA would make it tough if not impossible to stay in the top 4 for seeding in the SEC tournament.

The pitching better be ready as UGA leads the SEC in batting. There will be a lot of runs scored most likely.

I am still surprised Kentucky is in third place in the SEC. They swept LSU holding them scoreless in three games!

If the past weekend is any indication of where the Lady Vols are headed...everybody better come with their A-game...:rock:

This is like the Florida series we will be lucky to win a game. I expect we will score some runs but so will they. Anyone that can limit the other to less than five runs in a game will probably win.

Different UGA team playing at home this time. The Emanuel twins are leading the SEC in hitting with .461 and .455 batting averages and leading in hits with 65 and 51. They each have an on base percentage over .500.

Wilkinson at pitcher has a better ERA and more strikeouts than any of the UT pitchers.

UT shouldn't sweep this series like they should have Missouri. If they do I'll leap for joy.

I would take 2 right now and think that we got to get 1. Georgia is loaded. I know there is good HS and travel ball in Georgia but for the life of me I do not see how their coaching staff is better recruiters than ours. Did not look at their roster but would think it may be somewhat heavy with in state ladies. I cant complain when they want to play for their home state university.

Georgia must feed their team at the all you can eat buffet... Whew! That pitcher is stout!

Are you kidding with the Florida comparison?

Florida and Georgia are on completely different playing fields. Georgia lost 2 of 3 to LSU and South Carolina in conference play.

Georgia is a far better hitting team that Florida. The Florida pitching is the best in the country. Glad we won the first game it was down to the wire and Moss was sensational on this day. So no not kidding Georgia can score a lot of runs we were fortunate to get out of the first inning when they scored two had the bases loaded when Ralph went to Moss. No one is as good as Florida because of pitching no one is even close to their staff.

great game by Matty,she pitched excellent and had a pretty good defensive effort behind her,Gregg had a great game,she made some great plays

I just got done watching the replay from yesterday :)

it won't be long till tonight's game,I assume Erin will be pitching ?

Was hoping you were right about McSwain, armchair, but it doesn't look like she will be. Unless they use her as a pinch hitter anyways.
