Every game from here on out is a make or break it. We need to win and win big.
I agree. They need this win to get back on track with positive momentum before facing the SEC big dogs.

A loss to GA (which I do not think will happen) would move them closer to "bubble team" territory and that is not a nice neighborhood.

Tennessee is ranked #19, and Georgia is unranked, so this is a game we are supposed to win. At this point, we've got only three such "we are supposed to win" games left -- Georgia, Missouri, Texas A&M -- and we absolutely cannot lose any of those games. The rest of our games we will be considered the underdog as we play ranks of #3, #4, #13, #11, #5, #7, and I feel like we have to gut out at least two upsets out of that gauntlet.

It almost feels like a bad joke. HA HA! Just kidding! No WAY would a real schedule end like that!

Every season is its own story. If the post-season tournaments are the 3rd act, then it seems to this outside observer that the themes of acts 1 and 2 have been "internal distraction" and "external distraction."

I have no idea which LV team is going to show up, even for each quarter. I do think this team is going to bounce back successfully from this season, as played so far. I just don't know when or if it'll happen this season.

Thinking about the make up of this team, are most of our players coming into this season with an established winning history freshmen? If so, that might explain the delay in pulling it together. We might need 3 or 4 freshmen to each have their own Nate Ament moment of asserting ownership over the team's destiny.

UGA at home hasn't been scored on more than 68, except 1 game. LSU scored 80. UT predictions over 80 isn't happening.

Oh, wow. Thanks for that info. Georgia is significantly better this year than last, yet they beat us, at home last year on one of the most shockingly bad days for Lady Vols basketball in memory.

So, yeah, I'm definitely concerned. Out of the few games against unranked teams we have left to play, I think both UGA and Missouri have it in them to beat us if we fool around and think we're automatically going to win because they're not ranked. Both teams are hungry.

I never said she didn’t deserve the mins, I’ve said they need to get her open shots if she’s going to be in the game.
Whi said you did. More minutes will give her the confidence to take the open shots that she is turning down . Her shot is plenty fast enough.

Hope whatever issue is causing Cooper's seemingly uninterested playing of late is over as her play seems to affect the rest of the team. Agree on Hurst. Why not, perimeter shooting is not good now, nothing to lose here.
It only takes one bad apple to spoil the barrel. The coach has to take care of it if there are any player issues. Every player is important on the floor, play as a team and good things will happen. They all should be treated equally by the coach and other players. It's not too late, the final team score is what's important, not the score of any individual.

Looking down the road here what are we thinking we would need to host March Madness? 20+ wins? Tonight would be a huge step in getting there. GBO

I would think 20+ wins would do it, because that would mean we're definitely getting a few more Q1 wins in the regular season and maybe a couple more in the SEC tournament - all while likely finishing with the number 1 SOS.

That Mississippi State home loss is just so unfortunate because I really think we could've avoided any non-Q1 losses if we'd won that one. Though last year we had a Q4 loss (Georgia at home) and still came pretty close to hosting.

So your saying there's no minutes for a player who makes a pass .
Gets assist sometimes
Sometimes the player she pass to dribbles the ball once or twice and score .
no official assist just a coaches assist.

You only have minutes for players who scored baskets.

No minutes For a player making team oriented plays.
Set picks or screams.
Box their man out for someone else to get the rebound.

That's what I was thinking too. I still can't wrap my mind around the Miss State performance.
