The last time Tennessee knocked off the No. 2 team in the country was a 78-77 win vs. Kentucky, Feb. 24, 1993.

This is UT's first win against a top 5 team since a 66-59 win over Florida, Feb. 15, 2003.

The crowd of 24,011 is the sixth largest in Thompson-Boling Arena history, and a season-high. It is the third crowd of more than 21,000 this season.

Andre Patterson recorded his second double-double of the season, with 12 points and 10 rebounds. He had 11 points and 14 rebounds vs. Murray State, Nov. 30, 2005.

Chris Lofton made a career-high 10 field goals, and recorded a season-high 29 points. The last Vol to make 10 field goals in a game was Brandon Crump when he had 11 against Xavier, Dec. 11, 2004.

C.J. Watson became the 28th Vol to score 1,200 points and now ranks 26th on UT's career scoring list with 1,205 points

Great night and great post!

Props to Howell for not turning the ball over when he had to step in for CJ and the other 8 or so minutes he played. Plus congrats on making his first college free throw in that high pressure situation.

Congrats to Childress for stepping up and taking those charges and making his free throws!

Congrats to Jujuan for stepping up again and being a big difference not only on defense, but offense too.

Thanks for rebounding to Andre Patterson!

Chris Lofton was on fire, I don't even know what to say about that guy.

well you guys basically coverd it all. Great all around team effort. But I dont think you can forget about Bradshaw, he made some big plays and made the game breaking basket, but what about lofton and his two clutch ft's at the end of the game.. I swear the way the game was going he would have missed one.. Hats off to him and the rest of the team..

How about CJ?!?! The man left it ALL on the court, got beat up all night, and fouled out playing hard to win.

Yeah, he made both the technical foul shots that kept us in it in the first half.
