I noticed this too. With about 3 minutes left, Kamara caught a pass, ran out of bounds and the clock continued to run......... SEC is a joke! From front office to officiating.......

I bet you're the reason they have to tell us the OT rules every time it happens...

To be fair. After Karma went out of bounds, the clock continued for an extended amount of time before it was stopped, then (correctly) restarted after the chains had been set.

I'm pretty sure op is referring to the clock continuing to run for some time before it was stopped.

The clock should've stopped right when Kamara stepped out of bounds, but it should've stopped only for about 10 seconds. Instead, the clock kept running, and then eventually stopped for a few seconds until the ball was snapped. The clock was stopped, but it was not stopped at the correct time.

If the game clock was running all that, why did the game go on for nearly six hours?!

I attended the game and noticed some of the clock issues late in regulation:

* Under two-minutes, the clock started after a UT player went out of bounds. The ref corrected it, but added back fewer seconds (2) than we actually lost (4).

* After the last two first downs, the clock started well before the chains were reset. The refs used to wait for the chains to set before starting the clock, but now the clock started upon putting the ball in place.

* After one incomplete pass, the clock ran two additional seconds after the whistle.

* When the play clock malfunctioned an Aggie play was about to be run and the refs blew their whistle. The clock had been running with the 40 second play clock. After announcing the malfunctioned clock, the refs restarted the game clock with a reset in the play clock. This allowed A&M to run additional time off the clock on that play. They did not reset the game clock to what it was the the end of the previous play.

They ran about a good minute off they shouldn't have. Saw that.. Home cooking.. They wanted that game over. They saw we were coming.
