Result in mass exodus of recruits and the battered, beat down, frustrated, and disgusted fans our program has left. The only ones left will be the coach worshippers...and they probably don't even attend games. I don't think our program can afford another 3-5 year "rebuild".

Please leave suggestions because right now $ will not solve this problem.

I think it was Wes Rucker that tweeted yesterday that it's no exaggeration to say that Tennessee could lose fans if it can't get this right.

The apathy is going to reach an all-time high if they can't get someone in here that can incite some hope in the fans.

It could end up being irreparable. If not irreparable then at the least it'll take even more time to fix.

As the great George W Bush once said... "There's an old saying in Tennessee - I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee - that says, fool me once, shame on you. Fool me - you can't get fooled again." :)

We've been fooled twice by Dools and Butch. Don't fool us again!

If we're actually willing to spend the money, which it appears we are, then here's a list of relatively proven winning football coaches that we should strongly consider making a run at (in no specific order).

Gary Patterson
Bobby Petrino
Mark Dantonio
Mike Leach

Don't think we have much choice...

Gambling on another "google" hire as UT HC is just another CBJ or Schiano 2.0 kick the can down the road and pretend like we are competing in the SEC hire. Hiring this type person demonstrates to the fanbase and the rest of the SEC we're not a serious football program any longer, we may as well leave the SEC and become Tulane.

It's interim time. Coaches are rightfully spooked. I think we need to fire this bad excuse for an AD, clean house, put Haslam in his place, call up Fulmer for one year to hold this together, hire Blackburn ASAP, then spend the year landing a superstar head coach.

Unfortunately, Currie is in a death spiral. He is hell bent on all of a sudden doing due diligence and a real search. Unfortunately it's desperation now. He's fighting for his life and will hire SOMEONE! Keep a browser window open with google.com at the ready. We're going to get a doozy. There's nobody who will stop the inevitable. If the BoT were going to act they would have.

Scratch Patterson, he just signed a new deal. We missed that opportunity years ago.

You can't take Petrino because of his past, plus he's another azz
