My Dad is debating flying his private plane into the Gainesville Airport on Saturday for the game. He wanted to know if anyone had ever flown in there and knew if they had any type of shuttle system to campus from there? Thanks guys.

I have never flew into Gainesville for the game but I have heard of people who did and shuttle to and from the game.
Just land the plane on Tebow walking to the stadium; help our chances a little.

You should land on my dads private air strip. Then jump on my dads Hummer limo service (he owned 3/4 of Hummer before they took a dump) and hook up with my dads ex-girlfriend Giselle while they are drinking the finest champagne overnighted from France. Douche.

The guy asked a question.

Stay classy.

Why are you going to call a guy that because he mentioned that his dad is going to fly his plane to Gainesville in the process of asking if there was an easy way to get to the stadium from the airport? Easily offended?

If your dad was smart enough to make enough money to pay for a private jet. He won't need your help to figure out travel sources on this site.

That's what I'm saying.

Probably had a bad day mowing lawns or something and takes it out on a random person asking a legitimate question.

You can pre-arrange a car to take you to the stadium. It is not far. Enjoy

Anyone think he's perhaps a pilot, and has access to a small plane? He really might be flying in himself. Obviously if he was rich enough to have his own private jet, a shuttle to and from the stadium wouldn't be a worry.

It doesn't necessarily mean he is rich either. I have a friend who has his pilot license and he makes around 80K a year. He went in on buying a used cesna with three other pilots and the split the costs of upkeep and payments on it. It is less than a car payment every month and the plane is "his".

Gainesville airport sucks, and I don't think there is a shuttle to the stadium/campus. Last time I was there, though was when I was an undergrad (10 years ago). Best of luck.

There may be one "her" thrown in there somewhere, but if you talk to my buddy the plane is "his". :p

We have fun with it, I have family in St. Louis and we fly up there sometimes, it only shaves 3 hours off driving and is a little more expensive but it is a blast.
