With a significant knee injury for an undisclosed amount of time and will not return anytime soon. Not good for our secondary...:cray:.

Not good only because he is depth. Like I said in another thread, Willingham or Kemp will be much better. I've been waiting for Kemp to come out like he did tonight. Hope he has a good night next week as well.

That's what I was going to say. I hate that he's hurt, and I hope he has a speedy recovery, but we're not going to miss him missing tackles and getting burnt. He hasn't done much good so far.

Favorite or not, it's never good to lose someone like that before the UF game.

I hate that Gaines got hurt but I don't hate that he won't be on the field. He was one of the weakest links on a weak defense.

I wonder what game Phil watched:
Fulmer said he was generally pleased with what he saw from his re-tooled secondary outside of what he termed a 'bust' on the touchdown.

Parrish played better last night, so that might happen with Gaines out. I think they found some extra depth at CB with Kemp last night...not sure about McKenzie still.

Yeh It was confirmed on the talk show Berry now CB and Parrish is SS now.

Thanks..that makes sense....but it is also concerns me a lot..Cal made Parrish look silly...hopefully his improvement to the game last night continues...and it wasn't just a slower offense that made him look better

Parrish played better against half the speed and half the talent that Cal had. Berry is back where he belongs but his busted coverage cost us the TD. I see Florida throwing deep on us alot and probably getting a ton of pass interference calls.

Wasn't Johnson covering the guy that got wide open?

Since when did he say he wants to be a saftey? All I have ever heard about him was his talent at corner.

Maybe because Fulmer promised him he'd be a corner when he was recruited.

Didn't he also say he'd see the field on O too? Ark is a perfect example of what happens when players start ruling the team and we don't want that.

"I consider myself a football player," Berry said with unwavering confidence. "Whatever it takes to get the job done."
Sounds like he would be ok with whatever the coaches need.
