Saban and most all other coaches are doing whatever they can in this day and age of NIL and transfers to somehow cap players money and limit transfers. I personally can support that but if and ONLY if that same standard applies to the HCs and their staffs as well. I somehow believe Saban then comes down off his high horse situated on Mt. Olympus and walks among us mere mortals again.Just a humble opinion but as long as coaches can come and go as they please, I don’t see a case where restrictions on the number of times a player can transfer would be upheld if challenged in court. They are both considered “employees”.
Yes, I feel the throne pictures are a bit much, but this like you said ‘gross’. It just confirms it is all about money.View attachment 828260
This is gross to me.
The problem with your comment, in my opinion, is that I'm not really sure you saw the "system " employed against highly talented teams. I'm not convinced the system will work at this level, but I am convinced we did not see a team last season that made the effort necessary to properly implement the system. This is confirmed by Coach Caldwell's comment about trying to implement a "plan B" sometime during the season in a compromise with the team. Jmnsho.Or overcome a system that
Or overcome a system that didn't work against highly talented teams.
I hate this.View attachment 828260

Very true. I get it. Maybe on your personal IG etc. What I hate isn’t that the young folks are doing it or drawn to it. I hate that a university is doing it/promoting it as part of their official commitment shots and photos. The kids are just being kids and mirroring what they see from their music idols with all the “hey look at me and all the money and cars and gold and luxury that I have because I’m so fire” posturing.
It’s just silly, but many young people seem to really enjoy emulating that money ego lifestyle. Whatevs.![]()
Just stating facts, most were very pleased with year one, could it have been better, yes. I just don't care to be negative about it.If you think that an 8 and 8 record in the SEC showed it was "working fine" then I guess it worked fine in both of Kim's years since both teams had the exact same Conference record.
