This upcoming season will be his first one there tho
Was this a “we moved there for a parents job “ and just ended up at Kell kind of thing?? I feel like if it were a move for better academics and athletics I would have moved two miles up the road into Lassiter district.

No clue. There's a lot of transfers happening in Georgia right now. There's a lot happening everywhere but it's more blatant elsewhere. With TSSAA pushing how they want to handle recruiting down the road every year, everything is done quietly in TN. Transferring is even bigger now as players look for more competitive environments as they have to compete with portal somewhat

one I wish we had figured out how to keep…. I know he had his issues but he put together a great season last year
We seem to have a lot of guys that are now of high enough quality to start somewhere but not here, but not so many that there’s even someone behind them of that quality. I think that and the scholarship reductions are why it’s tough to see some kids transfer when it shouldn’t be. Good problem to have. And IF our blue chip ratio can take that next step from 60% to 70%+ (probably consistent top 8ish classes), the hand wringing over transfers should end I’d think.

You know better than that. There will ALWAYS be hand wringing on VN.
