It’s hard to justify signing another RB, unless Whitehead ends up at LB. But I would take Gibbs anyway. He’s better than Hodge and better than Whitehead at RB. And he looks better than Small too. Kid is drastically underrated.

Way too early to say that. I think UF is our biggest competition right now. GT has a lot in its favor...it isn't going to be the easy flip that everybody assumes.

The kid’s game seems similar to Kamara’s. Shifty runner and excellent receiving skills out of the backfield.

This kid is no where near as shifty or as fast as Kamara. I get what your saying but Kamara easnt a 4.6 guy coming out of hs

He ran a 4.56 and 4.53 at the NFL combine

.... so he probably was actually, if not slower

Love me some Kamara but he's not top-end fast

Kamara is more quick than fast, although his 4.5 translates to the field very well. He has football speed.

Unless he is a 4.4 guy we are Ok with the Rb recruits this year. Look for a blue chip next year. OL and Defense are more important.

Agree. Rb room is full after adding 3 this year. No great running back, but a handful of solid running backs and now a mix of styles. Hopefully next year we’ll target and sign 2 big-time blue chip studs. Been a minute since we’ve had that.
