He redshirted last year...and it was due to injury. He’ll be a redshirt junior next season.

Maybe. I would’ve laid a paycheck on Nathan Peterman not getting drafted after his time here. Chaney has worked some miracles. Still think our future is either Maurer or Bailey though.

For comparison for the stat hungry, both thru 6 games:
Bailey:1801 yards, 112/183 (61%), 18td/5int passing. 115 rushing, 3.6 ypc, 2 tds rushing.
King: 939 yards, 65/119 (54%), 5td/5int passing. 284 rushing, 10.1 ypc, 7 tds rushing.

Even if you add in kings rushing he doesnt come close to to Baileys production.

SoS is fairly close, mid 20s for King, low 30s for Bailey.

He has around 45 career rushing yards. While the kid’s got some mobility, his bread and butter at Maryland was standing in the pocket and going through progressions.

yeah, he's not a "dual" threat....he's a pocket passer.

Still can’t gloss over some ugly stats in HS for supposed #1 QB. I agree he is excellent prospect but I’d be pretty concerned at those stats.

Convenient excuse. That offense didnt seem to hurt him last year. He is struggling right now. No real shame in it.

As for the current commits, Saturday was important for Harrison Bailey to get back around the staff. Right now, Bailey is locked in with the Vols.
