Two national titles, 4 title game appearances, 15 first round draft picks.
And their days of winning championships are long gone. Their coaching staff is a joke and guys are no longer being developed into great players anymore. He’s accumulating 5 stars and their getting drafted off of their talent alone. Not because their staff is turning them into elite players. Just look at what we did to them with 5 of our 10 best players out and 2 of those guys being our 2 best players

Days of winning are gone? They just won the ACC championship and were a win away from making the CFP despite lackluster QB play. No longer develop players into great players? Myles Murphy, Bryan Breese, Trenton Simpson all expected 1st round picks. Will Shipley is a stud. Antonio Williams will be pretty good. Barrett Carter has been great, KJ Henry been good, got a great defense in general. You bring up our opt outs but Murphy and Simpson opted out and Breese was playing hurt. Those 3 were probably their best players outside of Shipley. Banks wasn't an opt out and Tillman had been hurt for the majority of the year

Their days of winning nattys are gone would be a better sentence, because they are in fact over

That QB is a 5* and looked overmatched vs our “so so” pass D. He’s not in the same league as Watson or Lawrence. Yes, they made the playoff with Bryant, but they didn’t advance.

It was his second start ever…. In his first start…. He went 20-24 for 279 yds to win the ACC championship.

Yeah we brought a lot of pressure and took advantage of his inexperience. Idk how good he’ll turn out to be, but Banks’ gameplan in combination with their overly pass happy playcalling was a recipe for disaster for the kid.

That's not really fair.
Lawrence had Higgins and an uninjured Justin Ross to throw to.

Clemson's offensive talent is way down compared to what they had when Watson or Lawrence was there. Especially at WR

Clemson is in the ACC. They’re not going anywhere anytime soon. Yeah they would’ve been dismantled vs Georgia if they got in this year but no other team was that impressive imo. Ohio state looked good

DJ U’s first 2 starts of his career were much more impressive and that didn’t pan out for them. But we’ll know if he’s legit soon enough
Never claimed he was a stud…. Just pointing out how ridiculous it is to make proclamations 2 games into a guys career…. Especially when 1 of those games was a dominant ACC championship win.

Way too early proclamations are what this place does. Another example is people who have already stated that Deion will be a failure before he’s a coached a single game at the P5 level.

It was his 2nd start, they left 9 points on the table in the first half and the play calling inside our territory was atrocious. You were probably that guy that criticized Peyton after the UCLA game.

That was Peyton’s first game, and he probably got no practice reps to speak of. Clemson’s QB was in their 14th game of the year.
