'20 GA RB Len'Neth Whitehead (UT SIGNEE)

It's crazy but you and I both know Rivals dropped him because he's not a take for UGA. It's ridiculous.

I’ve believed that’s part of their method for a long time...ever since that analyst they had (Barry something) admitted to it in a chat session several years ago...

No matter what nonsense they try to sell as an excuse the fact is they don’t have the resources and/or expertise to keep up with the entire nation...so they fall back on teams they’ve identified as power players in recruiting and they base at least part of their “analysis” on who those teams are pursuing

I want to say he was already low ranked in rivals compared to 247. Recall looking at his ranking a month or so back and one of the sites had him as a 4 whole other as 3.
Correct, Rivals always had him as a 5.7 3*. Only change they made was positioning from Athlete to an Inside Linebacker.

Dude needs a new highlight video. His vids look like he's playing as a high school player against a pee wee football team. Look at these little dudes lol.

The offensive and defensive lines in this vid look like they avg 150 pounds lol.

Where's his high school tape? Surely that isn't it?

He’s bigger than his own offensive line.

I'm pretty sure Cannon County, which hasn't won a game in years as far as I know, would run the table in that group.

Edit

2:00

😂😂😂

It's the most pathetic highlight tape I've ever seen. Not because of Whitehead, but because of his team and the other teams he is playing against. You can't tell how good he is when he's running over 110 pound linebackers or blitzing against 125 lb OG's. The player he tackles on the play at the 2:10 second mark looks like he's in 6th grade.

Yep...looks like bad middle school teams to be honest...Yikes!

Playing Devil's advocate here...

You know they can't evaluate all the recruits in the country with whatever staff they have, so how are they to fill in the gaps otherwise? Camps, offer list, and school recruiter evaluations.
If not, what will happen? Do we want them to get the good recruits wrong because they come from a small school? Do we want players from really big high schools to be rated artificially high because they get a lot of press coverage? These are questions that I ask to myself, because honestly, the recruiters at the big schools are probably better than any one person on the staffs of 247 and Rivals.

Of course it matters if UGA says he isn't a take. The question is why? Is he not a take because they already took commits from the top 4 of the top WRs in the country, or is he not a take because he was deemed to not be as good as originally thought?

We can't be hyper-critical of every time a recruit is downgraded. Yes, it does seem like UT's recruits are dis-proportionally downgraded, but some of them are legitimate, and how are we to know which ones?

Likely not a take at UGA because they’re limited in the number of LB’s they’re taking this year, and they’ve already got a stable of stud running backs, with one 5 Star committed and another rumored to join the class

Bass and grandmas.
Deal with it

It’s single A private in Ga which are pretty good teams when you are in the playoffs. His team went 13-1 last year and lost in the finals to ELCA.

It's going to be a really tough time adjusting to college ball wherever he goes becasue of the competion he goes up against. Those were some lil dudes. Almost should be ashamed top go up against them.
