"The Tennessee camp went great," Taylor told VolReport. "I feel like I moved very well, and I learned a lot."
Prior to putting in work on the field during the camp, Taylor was impressed with the athletic facilities the Tennessee football program provides to its players.
"I toured the indoor facilities before the camp, and it was a great experience," Taylor said.
During the camp, Taylor was able to work with Vols linebackers coach Brian Jean-Mary.
"Coach Jean-Mary is very engaged," Taylor said. " ... When he talks to you, you have to listen because he told me a lot of great things."
The talented linebacker is looking forward to building on his new relationship with both Tennessee and Jean-Mary.
"We don't really have a relationship yet, but I am really looking forward to that," Taylor said.
Taylor received his first offer from Florida State following a camp – and the Seminoles will continue to be a factor in his recruitment.
"I love their coaching staff," Taylor said of FSU. "All of them have great energy and vibes. They taught me a lot of things while I was at the camp."
Getting that first offer from the Seminoles still has effects on him almost a month later.
"When I got that first offer, I was amazed," Taylor said. "I can tell Coach [Randy] Shannon knows what he is talking about. He told me a lot of valuable things. ... Not just on the football field, but also off of it."
The linebacker also had a 7-on-7 tournament at Georgia Tech, where his team reached the final four. He was impressed with what the Yellow Jackets' program has to offer.
"I like how Georgia Tech's coaches don't only think about football, but also what happens outside of that," Taylor said.
